Born in Northeast Georgia’s Habersham County, Randy Reeves was bitten by the radio bug while touring local radio station WCON with his scout troop. Given his first break by the station a few years later, Randy did a daily two-hour air shift during his last years of high school. While earning his degree from UGA he worked first at WDOL, then legendary WRFC.
Radio gigs in Columbus, GA and Richmond, VA preceded an
eleven-year run on Atlanta radio’s WGST, Z-93, and Power 99.
In 1988, from his home studio, Reeves began his free-lance career as Randy Reeves Voice at Large, and has provided commercial voice overs and radio station imaging to hundreds of stations across the US and Canada.
Randy and wife, Charlotte (a fellow-UGA grad), have raised two adult daughters.
Hobbies: cooking, coffee, cars. And his job, which he still loves after all these years.
Favorite band/music personality: The Beatles/Paul McCartney
Quote: “I owe a debt of gratitude to my God for equipping me for, and blessing me with, the most wonderful career I could have ever imagined.”
